Police received reports of someone driving erratically with a flat tyre in Strassen. Officers located the vehicle and its owner behind a property in Rue Alexandre Flemming, where it transpired the woman in question was both heavily intoxicated and in possession of a driving ban. She refused to undertake a breathalyser test and fought against accompanying the officers to the police station, attempting to flee at one point. However, she was soon immobilised despite strong resistance.

The vehicle was confiscated after an inspection revealed both tyres on the passenger side were flat, although there were no other signs of a collision or accident. The woman had her licence taken away and a complaint was filed against her.

Elsewhere, police in Bascharage stopped a drunk driver on Rue de Reconnaissance at around 7.35pm after he was observed weaving slowly across the A13 towards Pétange. A positive breathalyser test followed the revelation that the man had no valid licence. His vehicle was confiscated and a complaint filed.
