Shortly after 7pm on Sunday evening, police received a report of a vehicle swerving along the A7 motorway towards Lorentzweiler.
A police patrol was able to locate and stop the car, with its driver showing clear signs of alcohol consumption. A breath test confirmed they were over the limi, and their driving licence was revoked on the spot as a result.
Later that same evening, another driver was reported in Schieren for erratic driving on Route de Luxembourg. Police stopped the man and carried out a test, which also came back positive. He was issued with a temporary driving ban.
