The speed shown on the digital display likely prompted a double take from police officers on Tuesday morning. However, their observations were accurate—a vehicle was indeed clocked at 150 km/h on the N15 between Niederfeulen and Heiderscheid, far surpassing the permissible limit of 90 km/h. The patrol intercepted the speeding driver and confiscated their driving licence.
In a separate incident on Monday night, police officers intervened to confiscate the driving licence of another motorist who was found attempting, and failing, to start their vehicle on Rue de Bastogne in Ettelbruck, exhibiting signs of intoxication.
