Roads were closed to traffic in order to avoid any accidents. Some sections were completely destroyed by rain or by landslides, which is why it is strictly forbidden to defy the bans put in place locally.
Several roads have been reopened to traffic, notably in the north of Luxembourg. Some will remain closed at least for the weekend:
N10 Echternach – Moersdorf
CR364 Vugelsmillen – Berdorf
N10 Vianden – Biwels
CR319 Wiltz – Winseler (traffic controlled by red lights following a landslide)
N10 Reisdorf – Wallendorf/Pont
N10 Grundhof – Reisdorf
N19 Diekirch – Reisdorf
CR357 Bettendorf – Eppeldorf
PC3 (le long de la N10) fermée à plusieurs endroits entre Schengen et Bech
CR118 Mersch – Angelsberg – Larochette
