RTL Today
On Sunday morning, an adolescent threatened a bus passenger with a knife, but police caught and detained the fugitive youth riding another bus soon after.

The minor reportedly threatened a bus passenger with a knife, telling the man to hand over his phone and headphones, in the Strassen area around 10am on Sunday. However, the victim was able to alert the police to the armed assault, which deterred the adolescent.

Police stopped and checked a number of busses during the subsequent search, and officers eventually managed to identify the youth on one of them. He initially resisted the arrest, but officers immobilised and cuffed him.

A knife was placed ready for use on the seat that the adolescent had occupied. Police confiscated the knife and brought the minor to the Dreiborn jail for young offenders by order of the prosecutor’s office.
