This was confirmed by Minister of Internal Security Henri Kox and Minister for Home Affairs Taina Bofferding in their joint reply to a parliamentary question by the Christian Social People's Party (CSV).
Calls to 113 (the emergency number of the police) were also not automatically forwarded to 112. Instead, those in need dialled 112 on their own initiative when they noticed that 113 was unavailable, the Ministers stated.
