Yellow alertMétéolux warns of strong winds on Thursday

RTL Today
Météolux has issued a yellow alert, cautioning of strong winds sweeping across the country on Thursday. Gusts of up to 75 kilometres per hour are forecasted from 11am to 7pm.

The brisk winds stem from a low-pressure system traversing Europe from the United Kingdom. While windy conditions are anticipated over the coming days, there is a likelihood of a slight uptick in temperatures. However, as Easter approaches, weather patterns are expected to become more unsettled.

Thursday’s forecast includes strong winds peaking at 75 kilometres per hour, coupled with scattered showers, particularly in the morning. Temperatures are expected to range from 7 to 12 degrees Celsius. On Friday, wind speeds are anticipated to diminish slightly as skies clear up, though isolated showers may persist, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 13 degrees Celsius.

Saturday could see temperatures rise to 14 degrees Celsius, albeit accompanied by increased wind and intermittent showers. In the afternoon, some areas may experience dry spells. Similar conditions are anticipated for Sunday and Monday, with temperatures climbing to 17 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively, on Easter Monday. However, thunderstorms may also be in the forecast.
