Luxembourg is on yellow alert this Thursday from 7 am until 8 pm. According to Météolux, gusts could reach speeds of up to 70 km/h (44 mph).
With the passing of storm Freya, Luxembourg was on orange alert on Monday. Be assured that Thursday's winds should be less strong than those we experienced on Monday.
With that said, be cautious nevertheless, especially when driving, as falling tries are not to be excluded. A tree has already fallen over in Ernster this morning.
Good to know: Large parts of the Great East (Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine) is also on yellow alert and gales of up to 100 km/h (62 mph) have been announced in Belgium.
