The meteorological service warns of “significant rain quantities” throughout the day, which it expects due to the “slow movement of storm cells”.
The yellow alert is in place in the entire country and currently expected to be lifted at 8pm. Wind gusts of up to 50km/h are forecast while the majority of rain is believed to come down over the course of the morning.
