Météolux has renewed its yellow alert, which was in force until Thursday 11pm, for this Friday from 10am to 8pm.
Yesterday saw gusts of up to 90 km/h sweep across the Grand Duchy. On Friday, rain will take over, with up to 30 litres per square metre in the south.
While higher altitude regions of the country may see some snowfall, Météolux does not expect any significant layers to form.
Motorists are advised to be particularly cautious on the roads on Friday, as there is a risk of aquaplaning. Those practising outdoor sports should also keep an eye on the weather conditions.
