Wednesday will see a slight fluctuation, with morning lows of -2°C to 2°C, a slight rise to 1°C to 4°C in the afternoon, and a drop back to 0°C to 3°C in the evening. The sky will remain heavily overcast throughout the day.
The weather service advises motorists to exercise caution, particularly on roads in higher-altitude regions where the snowfall is expected to be most significant.
