The cold has set in and snow is coming. This according to the latest forecasts from Meteolux, who have placed the entirety of Luxembourg under yellow alert on Tuesday.
Temperatures will remain below 0°C, which should be cold enough to ensure that the snow holds. Meteolux forecasts lows of up to -5°C in some parts of the country.
The snow is also expected to persist on Wednesday. Light snowfalls will be likely during the night and in the morning, covering our landscapes with a nice white coat.
Those who need to drive will obviously have to be equipped. Winter tyres are mandatory in the current weather conditions.
