Two members of the women's committee have resigned from their posts following Monday's events, while the wives of party president Jean Schoos and general secretary Alex Penning have left the party outright, according to reports on Radio 100,7.
Jean Schoos told Socio-Cultural Radio that he was convinced there would be more consequences to the story.

In early December 2019, Mischel resigned from all of her functions within the ADR after the publication of a controversial post on Facebook. She was re-elected Monday to chair the women's section of the party.
