Another exceptional year with an equally exceptional result.
For the second time in a row, the readers of RTL.lu have voted by a large margin for the people on the “front line”. This in the category “Lëtzebuergerin vum Joer” (female Luxemburger of the year) as well as for the “Lëtzebuerger vum Joer” (male Luxemburger of the year).
For this reason and on behalf of the courageous (male) Luxembourgers from the health and care sector, anaesthesiologist Dr. Marco Klop has received the award for his initiative #Yeswecare. The aim is to draw attention to how Covid-19 affects the work in hospitals.
On behalf of the courageous (female) Luxembourgers from the health and care sector, Anne-Marie Hanff, President of the Anil Nurses’ Association, received the symbolic award.
Almost 7000 people voted on RTL.lu and chose their personalities of the year.
