Marc Wagener is set to step down as director of the Luxembourg Employers’ Association (UEL) to take on the role of general director of the Luxembourg Red Cross.
Wagener recently announced his decision to leave the UEL, a position he has held since June 2024. He is expected to step down in May before succeeding Michel Simonis at the helm of the humanitarian organisation.
In addition to his role at the UEL, Wagener currently serves as president of the Economic and Social Council. His successor is expected to be determined in the coming weeks.
