PoliceMan threatens bus passengers with knife in Ettelbruck

On Wednesday afternoon, passengers on a bus in Ettelbruck were threatened by a man wielding a knife.

Shortly after 3.30pm, police arrested the man at Ettelbruck train station. According to the police report, the man was found with four knives in his possession - two kitchen knives, a pocket knife and a meat cleaver.

No one was injured during the incident. The man was taken into custody and brought before a magistrate by order of the public prosecutor.

In Luxembourg City, a suspected drug dealer was arrested on Wednesday afternoon following a police check on Rue de Strasbourg. The man was observed swallowing an object during the search, and was brought to the police station for further inspection, where a scan showed the man had a number of drug packs in his stomach. The public prosecutor ordered his arrest.
