At 9.00 p.m. on Saturday, police were alerted to a knife attack in Wiltz. According to preliminary findings, a dispute between two men had escalated, after which one of them drew a knife and seriously injured his opponent. The victim was hospitalised, but his condition is not life-threatening.
Officers were able to quickly arrest the presumed suspect after arriving at the scene of the attack. A crime scene investigation unit was also deployed. The suspect had to face an examining magistrate on Sunday morning.
