Witness appealMan attacked with truncheon in Pétange

A man was attacked on Rue Robert Schuman in Pétange near the station at 7.25pm on Thursday evening.

The victim suffered several blows to the head and back, before the attacker fled in the direction of the "schwaarze Wee" and station car park.

The perpetrator spoke Luxembourgish, was between 1.75 and 1.80 metres tall and of an athletic build. He wore a black jacket and black jogging bottoms, and concealed his face beneath a black Lacoste neck warmer.
