On Sunday evening, an assault was reported in Luxembourg City’s Belair district. According to initial information received by the police, a man had physically assaulted his ex-partner.
A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and located the two individuals.
After receiving first aid, the victim was taken to hospital for further treatment, the police reported on Monday.
The suspect was arrested on the order of the public prosecutor’s office and appeared before an investigating judge on Monday morning.
