POST LuxembourgMail and parcels can no longer be delivered to the UK

RTL Today
On Tuesday, POST Luxembourg announced that due to the suspension of scheduled flights between Luxembourg and the United Kingdom as well as the disruption of road and rail links, the company is no longer able to deliver mail and parcels to the UK.

Luxembourg, like other European countries, recently decided to cancel flights to and from the United Kingdom following the discovery of a new and highly infectious strain of the coronavirus. Road and rail links between the UK and the continent are also severely disrupted.

POST Luxembourg has been forced to adapt to the circumstances and announced in a press release that shipments to the UK are no longer guaranteed until 3 January 2021 inclusive. This affects all mail and parcels to England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

POST Luxembourg specifies in its press release that all mail to these areas will be temporarily rejected in all agencies until 3 January. Residents are also advised not to leave mail bound for the UK in postboxes.
