Three out of four young residents possess basic computer skills, with some showing higher than average talent, according to a study published by Eurostat on 15 July.
However, although the ratio is positive overall, Luxembourg is one of Europe's stragglers when compared to its neighbours.
According to Eurostat, the EU average is set at 80% of young people aged 16 to 24. The Grand Duchy's three direct neighbours rank highly on the table, and in countries such as Croatia or Estonia, the figures reach 97% and 93% respectively.
The study does not specify whether the recent lockdown experienced by students affected the figures, with many forced to undergo distance learning as a result of the health crisis.
Luxembourgers continue to dominate in other areas, such as spoken languages, with the majority of adults of working age able to speak at least three foreign languages.
