The first 6 months of 2019, premiums in non-life insurance increased by 210,97% while premiums in life insurance climbed by 39,39%.
The phenomenon can be traced back to Brexit: a whole row of insurance companies have decided to settle in the Grand Duchy following continuing chaos and uncertainty.
Companies active in Luxembourg alone have witnessed a growth of 6%.
