Statec released the 2018 figures on Wednesday morning as part of its "economy flash".
Last trimester Luxembourg's industry grew by about 1.7%. By comparison, the Eurozone as a whole saw a downward trend in that same period of time: -1.5%.
While it sounds like Luxembourg is doing well compared to other EU member states, it became clear in mid-2018 that the rate of job creation in the sector is slowing down.
