StatecLuxembourg's 10 largest employers

Statec published the report on Tuesday, taking into account employee figures up until 1 January 2020.

All companies based in Luxembourg, employing a minimum of 90 people, were surveyed as part of the statistics institute’s annual survey.

Here are the Grand Duchy’s biggest employers:

1. Post Luxembourg: 4,650 employees (+110 compared to 2019)
2. Groupe CFL: 4,510 employees (+150)
3. Cactus: 4,420 employees (+100)
4. Dussmann Luxembourg: 4.280 employees (+220)
5. ArcelorMittal: 3,900 employees (+90)
6. BGL BNP Paribas: 3,830 employees (-70)
7. Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations SA: 3.450 employees (+20)
8. Luxair: 2,950 employees (=)
9. PWC: 2,930 employees (+60)
10. Amazon: 2,760 employees (+510)

The employer who hired the most is by far Amazon, which saw its workforce increase from 2,250 to 2,760 employees from 2019 to 2020. The online commerce company is followed by Dussmann (+220), CFL (+ 150) and Post (+110).
