A 70-year-old Luxembourger was arrested by Turkish authorities on Saturday. He has owned a home in the south or Turkey for 30 years, but he had to spend the night from Saturday to Sunday at Dalaman airport. Upon investigation by RTL, the Minister for Foreign Affairs confirmed the incident.
The Luxembourgish man had to face a judge at 12.00 pm on Sunday. He was released just one hour later as it turned out he had been falsely arrested.
Details surrounding the circumstances are unknown.
