The trade union front consisting of the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) and Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) have joined forces with the Federation of Luxembourg Hospitals (FHL) to advocate for a healthcare system founded on solidarity and equal access for all.
The alliance was formed in response to recent developments in the sector, with both sides expressing shared concerns. The OGBL, LCGB, and FHL are aligned on most points.
They are jointly opposed to the commercialisation of medicine and are demanding the unconditional application of the FHL’s collective agreement across the entire hospital sector.
