Among the roughly 450 participants at this camp – held every four years – are members of the FNEL from Luxembourg. Over the course of two weeks, scouts are grouped into three age categories, sleeping in tents and taking part in a wide range of outdoor activities.
The programme also includes local excursions, such as trips to Amsterdam and Harderwijk, as well as hikes and cycling tours.
“Youth participants learn how to overcome challenges, make independent decisions, and experience life in a shared community”, said Tom Leclerc, camp leader of Odyssey.
The international camp runs until 2 August.
