The Luxembourg police responded to a series of incidents on Friday night, including two cases of domestic violence.

A fight broke out in a Rumelange bar, leaving three people injured. All three were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

At around 2am, another altercation occurred in Clausen/Luxembourg City, resulting in minor injuries. Due to the intoxication of those involved, police were unable to determine the exact cause of the dispute. A separate clash took place near Rives de Clausen after a group was denied entry into a bar.

Additionally, a dispute among several homeless people erupted on Place du Théâtre in Luxembourg City, prompting a formal complaint.

Domestic violence interventions in Mamer and Rumelange

Police intervened in two separate domestic violence cases – one in Mamer and another in Rumelange. In both instances, the public prosecutor’s office issued orders barring the offenders from returning to their homes.

Three individuals held in custody

In a separate incident Friday afternoon, an individual in Mensdorf scattered their clothes along a trail and could not be calmed by officers. They were also taken into custody.

Simultaneously, another intoxicated person was detained after causing a disturbance by shouting near a supermarket in Echternach.
