Steps, Meredith and Sasha were delighted to welcome the minister into the fold as they talked up Luxembourg’s cultural offer and debated the competitiveness of the nation in relation to supporting local artists and attracting top talent.
Minister Tanson visited The Sam Steen Show (with current guest host The Lunch Box‘s Stephen ‘Steps’ Lowe) this morning to discuss her dual role as Minister of both Justice and Culture.
Tanson highlighted the misconception that many non-residents only see Luxembourg as a financial centre with nothing more than banks. She spoke to Stephen about the duality of her position, explaining how it is important for her to be present at both of the respective ministries.
Within the capacity of her role as Minister of Culture, Tanson shared her love for the arts both as a minister and as a private individual, “I really try to be [present at] a lot in cultural events because it is important to me to know what is going on. But also because I just love it. I love to go to the theatre, to concerts, to exhibitions.”
