Luxembourg City police responded to an attempted vehicle theft Monday evening in the Gare neighbourhood’s parking facilities.
Initial reports indicate an unidentified individual was interrupted by a security guard while trying to start a motorbike. Officers arriving at the scene detained the suspect for interrogation. Preliminary investigations suggest potential connections to additional theft cases.
Following orders from the public prosecutor’s office, the individual remained in custody overnight and appeared before an examining magistrate Tuesday morning.
