DuPont, a Luxembourg-based manufacturing site based in Contern, has had a busy few weeks. The business manufactures protective clothing, and has an increase in demand.

The firm spoke to German news agency DPA and explained that coronavirus has left them with a surge in production due to higher demand. On average, they produce around 200 million protective suits a year. Already, the firm expects the output number for 2020 to be significantly higher.
These protective suits are one-time wear coveralls. Usually, medical personnel order the suits from the business, but other customers have now included the police and customs officials. The suits are made out of Tyvek, a trademarked special material which has a higher level of insulation.
