A Luxair flight bound for Madrid was forced to turn back to Luxembourg on Sunday after a technical warning appeared during the flight relating to one of the aircraft’s engines. The national airline confirmed the incident in a statement.
The captain and crew informed passengers on board flight LG3837 of the decision to return to Findel, describing the turnaround as a precautionary measure. The Boeing landed safely back at Luxembourg Airport without incident.
Affected passengers are being rebooked on alternative flights.
