The owner of a house on Rue Frantz Clément caught two burglars in the act after they had broken into his home via a first-floor window on Wednesday night at around 9.30 pm.
Confronted with their prospective victim, the two individuals immediately fled the house by the back and via Avenue Pasteur.
The police then dispatched a search party to find the two burglars, but were unable to locate them. The homeowner nevertheless reported the crime.
