Widespread congestion plagues the road network around the capital, with the Traffic Management Centre reporting kilometres of traffic jams, notably on the A1 in both directions.
One incident on the A1, between Senningerberg and Kirchberg, heading towards Croix de Gasperich, resulted in significant delays. As of 9.30am, traffic remained slow between the airport and Flaxweiler. Conversely, congestion showed signs of alleviating at the junction down the A7 towards the capital.

Progress has been observed on the A1 stretch between Croix de Gasperich and Kirchberg, in the direction of Germany.

In the southern part of the country, traffic slowdowns are concentrated around the A4/A13 junction at Esch-sur-Alzette, particularly on the route back to Luxembourg City.
