The OGBL and LCGB unions announced on Thursday that DuPont Teijin Films has signed an agreement for a job protection plan, or “Plan de maintien dans l’emploi” (PME). The agreement was confirmed in a letter published on Thursday, specifying the plan will come into effect from 1 May 2023.
The job protection plan, which will run for six months, was signed by 160 staff members who are at risk of losing their positions at the industrial business. The plan is intended to prevent the reduction of jobs using, among other things, departures and retirements, outsourcing and training, in order to prevent redundancies.
