This isn't the first time we've seen a bit of vigilante action when it comes to dog poop being left in the parks of Luxembourg. Nearly a year ago we reported on a similar tactic being employed in Strassen, where a variety of tags - some of which are pictured below - were left next to unattended faeces around a park.
Following up on that vigilante campaign, we looked into the law on picking up after your dog in Luxembourg and found that there is no national law that says you have to pick up after your pooch. Instead it's regulated on the municipal level, which means that there are some municipalities (or 'communes') in which you have to pick up, and others where there is no specific regulation - but it is, of course, always encouraged, and rather impolite not to.
