Responding officers discovered four individuals inside a vehicle that appeared to be in a state of disrepair. Upon detecting the smell of drugs, the officers requested the driver to undergo both a drug test and a breathalyser test. Both tests were positive, and the driver received a temporary driving suspension.
In another incident at approximately 10.25pm, two individuals, visibly inebriated, were found engaged in a physical altercation on Rue de Strasbourg in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City. Recognising the potential risk to their own safety and that of others, the police placed them in a holding cell to allow them to sober up securely.
Around 11.30am on the same day, a motorist driving at excessive speed with a damaged windshield drew the attention of a police patrol in Val de Hamm, Luxembourg City. Despite repeated police warnings, the driver continued on his way. Shortly thereafter, another patrol located the vehicle. The driver was uncooperative, engaging in violent behaviour. Even upon arrival at the police station, the individual remained agitated and was subsequently placed in a holding cell.
