
At around 3pm on Wednesday, an intoxicated individual attempted to attack a security guard with a glass bottle on Place du Théâtre in the capital. He was taken into custody to sober up, and police issued a warning.
In Hamm, a person refused to disembark a bus on Rue de Bitbourg. The police were duly called and when they searched the man, who was drunk, they realised he was a shoplifting suspect, as they found stolen items in his possession.
At around 8pm on Wednesday, police in Dudelange were called out to Rue Pasteur to subdue another intoxicated individual, who had been kicked out a café for starting a fight with two others. He was taken into custody as he was perceived to represent a risk to himself and others.
