The emergency services intervention disrupted rail traffic, causing a number of delays and cancellations on the rail line between Luxembourg City and Petange/Rodange. Emergency services were at the scene until mid-afternoon. By 3.15 pm, emergency services had left the scene and rail traffic is slowly returning to normal.
According to the police, the CR165 between Huncherange and Noertzange was also closed to traffic.
