The diocese published the statement in response to a recent press briefing by Luxembourg's Minister of Health. According to Paulette Lenert, there had been six infections during a religious service.
The diocese stressed that these new infections did not take place inside a Catholic church, adding that the church continues to support the ministry in the battle against the pandemic.
