Police report several driving-related offences since Sunday, with multiple licences confiscated and driving bans issued.

On Sunday morning in Steinfort, officers pulled over a vehicle with high beams on. The driver showed clear signs of intoxication, which were confirmed by a breathalyser. A provisional driving ban was imposed, and authorities are still investigating whether the driver’s licence is genuine. The car was seized by order of the public prosecutor, and a formal complaint was filed. The driver, who was uncooperative, was also fined for insulting a public official.

Also on Sunday morning, police stopped a motorcyclist who was unable to stay in their lane. A breathalyser test confirmed alcohol consumption, and a driving ban was issued.

Later that evening in Contern, officers stopped another driver after receiving reports of zigzag driving. The motorist tested positive for alcohol and was issued a driving ban.

In the early hours of Monday, an intoxicated man was found behind the wheel in a car park on Route de Longwy in Bertrange. He had no valid licence and refused to take a breath test. A driving ban was issued.
