Mornings will be much fresher this week in Luxembourg and across the borders. Temperatures will drop to -2 °C on Monday according to Meteolux.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the mornings will be colder, between -2 and -5 °C, then between 0 and -3 °C (Thursday) and -1 and -4 °C (Friday). The roads are likely to be slippery every morning but the ice should not last very long: the days will warm up by the afternoon to reach between 3 and 7 °C until Friday.

In France, it should be slightly warmer according to Météo France, but the potential for ice remains: in Lorraine, the temperatures will drop below zero from Tuesday morning (between -1 and -2 °C), dropping further to -3 °C on Wednesday before climbing to 0 °C on Thursday and Friday mornings. The afternoons are forecast to be sunny, with temperatures rising to 7 °C, according to the official service of meteorology and climatology.

In Belgium, in the province of Luxembourg, yellow alerts have been issued by the IRM (Royal Meteorological Institute) for Monday morning until 11am due to slippery conditions and until 3pm due to fog.

The forecast says temperatures will drop to -4 °C on Wednesday and -3 °C on Friday, with Thursday expected to be slightly warmer (between 2 and 5 °C).
