The Grand Duchy’s roads were treacherous in places on Friday morning, as a motorist came to discover on the road linking Dippach with Holzem in western Luxembourg. The icy surface led the vehicle to spin off the road and into the field alongside it. According to initial reports, the crash resulted in material damage only.
The Grand Ducal police issued an appeal to the public to drive carefully as the road surface could be slippery around bends in particular.
