Despite ordering, producing and delivering plenty of medals in the run-up to the marathon, around 300 medals were missing from the event. Furthermore, 100 runners did not receive the right medal.
It is important to reward every runner for their effort, Step by Step said. It is currently checking CCTV footage of cameras installed in the halls. A batch of new medals will be produced.
Step by Step apologised for the inconvenience but said it will make sure the right medals are distributed as soon as possible.
Participants who received an incorrect medal should report it by email (Info@ing-night-marathon.lu) and mention their start number in order to receive their award.
