MouvecoHow sincere and resolute is the Ministry of Agriculture's commitment really?

RTL Today
A press release circulated by non-profit Mouvement Ecologique (Ecological Movement) expresses doubts in terms of the ministry's measures relating to organic farming and reducing Glyphosate.

The organisation criticised one measure in particular: farmers foregoing pesticides are to be granted €30 per hectare.

Meanwhile, organic farmers receive no financial support, backed by the supposition that it would be unnecessary since they did not use Glyphosate to begin with. Mouveco, an association committed to environmental preservation, stated that this was unjust and a step in the wrong direction.

These were not their only reservations. Mouveco further wanted to know whether regular farmers would be provided with the necessary advice and support to make the change?

In general, while the ministry seemed enthusiastic when it came to environmental change, they were currently lacking in actual, concrete steps and mechanisms to ensure this future.
