The accord will now stay in effect until 31 March 2021. This means that French cross-border employees can continue working remotely from home while at the same time being taxed in the Grand Duchy.
Before the pandemic, the maximum amount of home office hours was limited to 29 days in France, 24 days in Belgium, and 19 days in Germany.
It was further announced that the measure will also apply retroactively to all home office hours conducted since the beginning of the pandemic.
