In a press release, the Ministry for Home Affairs confirmed that an upcoming meeting with Romanian counterparts will take place on the sidelines of the next Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.

During the meeting, Minister for Home Affairs Léon Gloden is set to sign an “administrative agreement” with Romania’s Minister of Home Affairs Cătălin-Ionuț Predoiu on bilateral police cooperation. The agreement will allow Romanian police officers to participate in operations in Luxembourg targeting organised begging and human trafficking.
