Due to unknown reasons, a driver crashed into a grey Mazda 3, which was stationed at the side of the road. The unidentified driver quickly fled the scene afterwards. Luckily, the crash only resulted in material damage.
The police is now looking for witnesses in relation to this incident. People should contact the Diekirch/Vianden department either via phone (+352 244 801000) or via email (police.diekirchvianden@police.etat.lu).
The police further reports that late on Sunday evening, a person was mugged by a group of young men at a parking site in Clausen. Although they managed to grab the victim's necklace, they were later detained by police in the city centre. One person was arrested, another sent to the juvenile prison in Dreiborn.
