Updated on 13 January: The person missing since January 8 has passed away and was found on Saturday, near Bourglinster.
In order to determine the exact cause of death, the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office requested an autopsy.
According to authorities, the 85-year-old was last seen at 6pm on Monday evening.
