Has your municipality (or another you might have passed through) done something innovative to improve road safety? If so, you may want to nominate them for the European Road Safety Award.
The award seeks to highlight the contributions made by local authorities toward improving road safety, and part of the hope is that particularly good local solutions can spread more widely through recognition. Some 38% of road fatalities and over 50% of serious road injuries happen on urban roads - and the award seeks to put a spotlight on innovations aimed at reducing these numbers.
